Massage Therapy


A massage therapist is qualified in the assessment of the soft tissues and joints of the body as well as the treatment and prevention of physical disorders, dysfunction, injury and pain of the soft tissues and joints.  

Their goal is to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function to relieve pain and promote health and well being. ​

Massage Therapy

The science, art, and philosophy of massage therapy allow for the diverse needs of our clients to be met by the massage therapist wh​ose style most closely meets the expectations of the client.

 

Massage therapy may include the following practices:

  • Various techniques of assessment, massage, and manipulation of the soft tissues of the body
  • Thermotherapy or the application of heat and/or cold
  • Remedial exercises

Common conditions treated by massage therapy include, but are not limited to, neck, shoulder and back pain, spinal stiffness, plantar fascitis, heel spurs etc.

Our massage therapists work in close consultation with our physiotherapists to ensure specific and accurate treatment of the soft tissue condition. Both our male and female therapists offer over 28 years of combined experience.


We have both early morning and evening appointments available and direct bill to most private insurance companies!
